Tucked away from the road, the "Rear Down" unit occupies the lower floor of the back house, serving as a quiet and cozy retreat for your summer stay. Upon entering, you’re greeted by an inviting open-concept kitchen and living area, designed for easy gathering after a day at the beach. Whether you’re relaxing on the ample seating to stream your favorite shows on the SmartTV or whipping up a meal in the fully equipped kitchen—complete with a gas range, microwave, and all the essential cookware—you’ll find every modern convenience at your fingertips.

The layout comfortably accommodates up to six guests across two well-appointed bedrooms, featuring a queen bed in the first bedroom and a full & twin bunk setup in the second. Modern essentials like high-speed WiFi and 2 window air conditioners ensure you stay cool, while the clean three-quarter bath provides a convenient walk-in shower. To top it all off, there is a secluded seating area behind the house, offering a private outdoor space to relax with a morning coffee or an evening breeze (photos coming soon).

  • Parking is 2 car tandem in a driveway lane shared with the upstairs unit. The cobblestone marker in the pavement marks the line between your driveway and the neighbors driveway. Please coordinate with the guests in the other unit to make all spaces available and allow guests to come and go. If you require access to your car to come and go frequently, there are paid lots close by.
  • Upstairs and downstairs can be booked together for a total of 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and 4 car parking. Please see listing number #194 for available dates.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances outside our guests control may require them to cancel. In these instances, Harris Real Estate will do everything in its power to get the property re-rented and try to recover some of the deposit money for the guest. The following is our full cancellation policy; 1) We must have a cancellation in writing at least one month prior to your stay. If the reservation is cancelled in less than 30 days from the reservation, the full balance will be charged. 2) If you rented over the internet or by phone, the rental must be accepted. You have removed the unit from the rental pool. The pictures on our web site are updated to the best of our abilities and we feel represent true conditions. If you are unhappy, we can try to re-rent but the unit must be vacated and time is limited. 3) Upon receiving your cancellation request, we will re-list the unit as available. If we are able to re-rent the property at the same rate, your deposit will be returned less a 10% (of the total rental cost) processing fee. If it is rented for a lesser amount, we will return the difference less the 10% processing fee. 4) After a unit is re-rented, the deposit will not be returned until the new guest pays the reservation in full and the booking is accepted.
Harris Real Estate at its sole discretion may allow you to transfer your reservation to another party. We will consider any transfers on a case-by-case basis and the new guest will need to agree to take responsibility and accept our rental policies. 5) If the property is not re-rented, the deposit will be forfeited to the property owner. 6) The cancellation policy listed on your confirmation reads "ABSOLUTELY NO DEPOSIT OR FEES RETURNED". While we will do our best to get you all or some of your money back, we reserve the right to enforce the full cancellation policy as written on your receipt.

We HIGHLY recommend obtaining travel insurance to cover any unexpected life events or illnesses.

Deposit Policy

While we do not retain traditional security deposits, our rental agreements states that you authorize Harris Real Estate to charge the payment on file for damages caused to the property beyond reasonable wear and tear. For all bookings, a 40% down payment is taken which is applied to the final cost. Final payments are due 30 days in advance of your stay.
